I took my bike out for a ride today, the rear tire was a little bit low on air, so after about 20 minutes I'm passing a petrol station and I decide to fix the problem. They had this fancy pump which pumps up to the pressure you tell it to. It took me a while to figure out how it worked, and when I finally did it decided to remove all the air out of my tire and no matter how hard or often I tried it never gave anything back. I tried the front, and there was no problem, everything worked as it should. Since I was about a 20 minute walk away from I wasn't ready to give up yet, but still the same story, totally hopeless. Finally I decide to walk home, there's a petrol station right across the road from my house. The way back is not the easiest since I hold the back up a little in order not to completely destroy my now completely flat tire. Finally I get to the station, but no, I can't find any air pump. Oh I am so happy at this point that you won't believe it. Just so typical.

The upside of the day is that I did fix the brakes, and moved the gear shifters to a better possition on the steer.

But well, I guess I'm going for a walk with my rear tire someday soon... (not the first time)
