Last Monday I got a phonecall from my mother. She told me my cat, Bandito, was ill. They had taken him to the vet and ironically enough he has kidney failure.

A flew to Iceland on Wednesday to be sure he wouldn't pass away without me having the chance to bid farewell, but he seems to be feeling better now. It's hard knowing that my cat is currently living through the worst period of my life, but while he's not suffering I believe his life is well worth living. I can only hope we will make it till summer, when I will come back.
